ALBERTO APOSTOLI

Regarded as one of the most influential and award-winning international architects and designers in the Wellness, SPA and Hospitality sectors, Alberto Apostoli (b. 1968) has promoted, written about, and researched the profound relationship between Wellness and Architecture for almost three decades, both in Italy and abroad. He seeks to raise awareness of architecture not merely as form and function, but as a means of improving people's lives and the planet.

In 1997 he founded Studio Apostoli, a globally recognised design and consulting firm that partners with leading hospitality and wellness brands — including Lefay Resorts, Cipriani Group, Four Seasons, Accor Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Discovery Land Company — as well as with private entrepreneurs, investment funds, property developers, asset management companies and other key stakeholders. Today Studio Apostoli is part of Apostoli Group, which comprises four different brands that operate in the wellness and hospitality sectors with different approaches but a shared vision, offering a unique range of services.

The group has completed hundreds of projects in around 30 countries to date, achieving over 70 international awards and thousands of publications.

Apostoli is the author of the industry reference book “Architettura delle SPA” (2012) and, with his second book “Elogio delle SPA” (2024), he redefined the philosophical, cultural and sociological standards related to wellness architecture.
